Laura Flamm

Senior Program Manager, Community Health

Laura Flamm is a Senior Program Manager of Community Health for Kaiser Permanente. In this role, Laura is responsible for Kaiser Permanente’s philanthropic and anchor strategies that promote equitable economic opportunity among the businesses and individuals in Kaiser Permanente’s Mid-Atlantic footprint. She was the architect of Kaiser Permanente’s national Business Resilience through Employee Ownership Strategy, that is now being adopted and replicated by other health care anchors throughout the country.

A Baltimore City resident, Laura is passionate about advancing social change in her community and in her work. In her spare time, you can find Laura on her stoop chatting with neighbors, on her bike heading to a local business, or behind her sewing machine whipping up the next colorful outfit.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Before joining Kaiser Permanente, Laura was Director of Healthy Eating and Active Living at the Baltimore City Health Department.

EDUCATION

Laura holds a master’s degree from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
